At first there is only the anticipation of how good it will feel. The right music is on and the running app started. After the first couple 100 of meters, my mind and body decide if this will be a good run. Am I fit today? Am I relaxed? Any muscles tightening unnecessarily? After the fresh energetic start, the body says “slow the hell down!” and my true bodily fitness sets the pace. Always remembering to look up and ahead, keeping a relaxed face and half smile, with some luck the ease sets in. That’s when I let my mind wander.
